We’re a bit torn in regard to this week’s warm, spring-like conditions. On one hand, it’s been lovely to bask in the sunshine and leave our heavy winter coats on their hooks, on the other hand, we love not worrying about our froyo melting as we walk through downtown Gresham, sundae in hand. In any case, these warmer days should be celebrated, and what better way to maximize your sunny day revelries than with frosty peaks of sweet, silky froyo? Try one of these special “Springtime in January” froyo combinations before this weather aberration abates and we’re back to eating frozen wind.
Raspberry Lime Mojito Cake
As the name indicates, this combo is equal parts raspberry lime mojito and cake batter froyo flavors topped with coconut, mochi and yogurt chips. Snub your nose to winter with this brazenly summer-ish sundae.
Island Banana Berry
Fulfill your summer fantasy with this froyo combo of island banana and mountain blackberry favors. Top it with raspberries, caramel sauce, and waffle cone pieces to complement our current mirage of springtime.
Salted Caramel Corn Overload
Enjoy this faux spring as if it was summer with a state fair approved overkill of caramel. Start with salted caramel corn froyo and top with Snickers pieces, waffle cone pieces and a shimmery river of caramel sauce.
