How do you describe a flavor as recognizable as the Georgia Peach? Apparently, if you work for the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Georgia (USA) you establish a vocabulary of 29 attributes to describe peaches where 18 of those descriptors include aroma and flavor.
There are other ways to describe the Georgia Peach. Peach Professor, Desmond Layne, is a peach specialist at Clemson University in South Carolina and describes the flavor this way, “This is paradise! Sweet, juicy, it melts in your mouth.”
Then his description gets a little more abstract, “Drips off your elbows, drips off your chin, drips off your face, drips onto your shirt, onto your pants, onto your shoes.”
This is where the safety of getting the flavor of a Georgia Peach from your local Frozen Yogurt Shop comes in. You don’t have to worry about it dripping off your elbows, chin, face, shirt or shoes. We have cups and napkins though—just in case.
Don’t forget to add a few of our 60 topping choices with that Georgia Peach Frozen Yogurt. You can double-down on the peach flavor with candy peach rings. If you are feeling like a gourmet chef and you really want to elevate your dessert, chefs recommend pairing your peach-flavored froyo with chopped almonds, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and maybe a touch of caramel.
