3 Scream Worthy Halloween Themed DIY Froyo Sundaes
on Monday, October 23, 2017Spooky times call for spooky sundaes! The official time of year for sweet treats and dressing up is upon us and whether you have your costume together, or you’re still haplessly trying to figure out how to disguise yourself, Halloween is almost here. You may have already decorated your home like a glittering graveyard, or you may be trying to find time to get Halloween candy for your block’s trick-or-treating masses. Either way, get into the Halloween spirit in advance by indulging in one of these brilliant DIY seasonal sundaes.
Pumpkinhead Pie—Better than any pumpkin pie you’ll eat this season, this sundae is equal parts graham cracker and pumpkin froyo topped with white chocolate chips and chopped almonds. Go big and finish this sundae with a healthy jet of whipped cream.
Count Coconut Chocula—Start with a thick layer of coconut milk froyo, and top it with equal parts chocolate and dulce de leche froyo flavors. Top your froyo with fresh strawberries, raspberries and a few maraschino cherries for a splash of crimson even Dracula would find tempting.
Caramel Apple Upside Down Cake—Less spooky, more Autumnal, this sundae consists of equal parts cake batter and dulce de leche froyo flavors and green apple sorbet. Top with a generous pour of caramel sauce and a scoop of both crushed Oreos and chopped peanuts.
